Maureen Denise McCormick is the younger daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born on August 5th 1956 in Woodland Hills California. Her mother was at home as a mother. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick started singing and performing at a very young age. At the age of six, McCormick young, she took home an award in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency phoned and asked if she would like to enter show business. McCormick got her first job as an actress major in the year 1964. She was featured in a commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she appeared in the role of Chatty Cathy in a commercial and was then cast for Wind It up and It's Broken at The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was chosen from among 1500 children who had auditioned to play the eldest of three towheaded girls on the new TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with a blended family. The run of five years for The Brady Bunch was an enormous successful one. McCormick wrote in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published in 2008, McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the television show, she nearly lost her their virginity to twin brother Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was 16. The incident could have occurred, she told me, but the timing wasn't right for us.
