Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry, an American beauty pageant contestant, actress and model who was awarded Miss USA in 1996, is an American actress. After watching the 1970 film "Love Story" her mother gave her the name Ali after Ali MacGraw. She's from French (Cajun) descendance and grew up in Cecilia, Louisiana, where she attended Cecilia High School. She was the captain of the cheerleading squad at the time of her graduation and was crowned Miss Louisiana Teen America' when she was of seventeen. Later, in 1996, she was declared Miss Louisiana USA. Her fame was boosted after winning 'Miss USA. She first made an acting debut in 1997 in the TV show 'Clueless'. The year 1998 saw her gain popularity for her role as "Doritos Girl" after appearing on the Super Bowl commercial for 'Doritos. In 2000 she made her feature film debut with the film Beautiful. The following few years she appeared in a number of TV and film shows. Her name is featured on numerous lists of the most-wanted women.
